Dr. Rashi Gupta was born and raised in Los Angeles. After high school she attended L.A. Pierce College and gained invaluable experience working with a variety of farm animals. She worked with the Office of Laboratory Animal Care at UC Berkeley and graduated with a B.S. in Molecular Environmental Biology. Dr. Gupta received her D.V.M. degree at The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine, where she served as the president of her class. During her time in veterinary school, she traveled to Thailand to work with Asian elephants and to Ethiopia to vaccinate the local canine population against Rabies. Her passion lies in treating small and exotic animals, with a particular interest in neurology, soft tissue surgery, and geriatric medicine.
Dr. Gupta was an epee fencer and a basketball player throughout her childhood. She continues to be an avid professional basketball fan (go Lakers and Dubs!). In her free time, she loves to cook, craft, and watch psychological thrillers. You may have seen her on Netflix’s global show, “Indian Matchmaking.” Dr. Gupta enjoys spending her time with her family and her rescued Chihuahua mix named Gary the Snail.
