Dr. Peter Kummerfeldt was born and raised right here in Southern California. His undergraduate degree was in Biology with a minor in Chemistry from Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, Arizona. While applying for vet school he worked at a multiple doctor general practice where he started off as a volunteer and after 2 years was the lead doctor assistant. He just graduated from Western University of Health Sciences College of Veterinary Medicine, here in Pomona, California. Dr. Kummerfeldt has always had a soft spot when working with exotics, especially the birds and our small mammal friends. He also really enjoys surgery and end-of-life care.
When he is not working, he spends his free time playing video games, reading and playing with his three giant dogs who he shares with his fiancé.
