Dr. Nycole Cole is from the Ventura County area and grew up in Oxnard, California. She went to University of California Santa Barbara for her undergraduate degree in zoology. From there she worked at the Ventura County Animal Shelter first as a volunteer and later as a veterinary assistant.
Throughout her time in undergrad and beyond she volunteered with the Channel Islands Marine Wildlife Institute working in marine mammal rescue, release, and rehabilitation. She also volunteered a bit with the Ojai Raptor Center before going to veterinary school at Cornell University in Ithaca, New York.
She is interested in many aspects of veterinary medicine and enjoys working with exotics and aquatics.In her free time you can find Dr. Cole running on the beach, cooking and eating, and occasionally passing a rugby ball around with her friends. She currently lives in Oxnard with her dog Milo.
