Dr. Natasha Diehl comes from a military family and is used to traveling, being born in Japan and raised on both the East coast and the Midwest. She continued traveling for school and now for work. Throughout her childhood, she was surrounded by animals; which fueled her interest in caring for animals, specifically exotics. She attributes her desire to become a veterinarian while caring for her first pets, parakeets. Her degrees include an undergraduate degree in Veterinary Science at Morehead State University, Kentucky, and a Doctorate Degree from Iowa State University in Veterinary Medicine.
Dr. Diehl’s interests in veterinary medicine include emergency medicine, surgery, avian medicine, and exotic pet medicine. As a bird lover, she has one bird, “Kiwi”, and plans to own more. Dr. Diehl is very excited to be on the West Coast for the first time and will be taking full advantage of the beautiful outdoors. In her free time, she likes to read, hike with her bird, take latin dance lessons, and instruct Zumba.
